University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy. P.E.R.U, Program Evaluation Research Unit

The Northwest Pennsylvania (NW PA) Veteran Suicide Prevention Program operates on a three-pronged approach involving healthcare providers, community organizations, and Veterans and their families in the 15 counties of NW PA. The “Person-First” series chronicles the lived experiences of Veterans committed to reducing suicide deaths of those who have served in the armed forces.

University of Pittsburgh, Pitt Sustainability

The University of Pittsburgh defines “sustainability” as balancing equity, environment, & economics so current and future generations can thrive. Pitt has active sustainability efforts and initiatives across disciplines, domains, and scales — including pursuing carbon neutrality by 2037. Bodhi aligns themselves with multiple Impact Areas and Goals of the Pitt Sustainability Plan; Food Systems, Equity and Access, Health and Wellbeing, and many more. Bodhi and Pitt will partner together on researching environmental and sustainable solutions that will enhance our impact on the local community.

Pennsylvania State University for a Senior Capstone Project

Bodhi's sustainability issue will be investigated by the ingenuity of PSU seniors. They will explore multiple facets to ensure Bodhi is operating as green as possible.

Possible facets include:

• Recycling Methods
• Waste Disposal Methods

Mercyhurst University

At the Innovation Entente lab, student intelligence analyst through conducting key research and data collection provided insight primarily on Funding opportunities, Market Analysis, Industry Best Practices, and Mistakes to Avoid. Bodhi utilized the Intelligence product to explore various funding avenues and optimize efficiencies within the 501(c)3 Federal Non-Profit and continues to receive ongoing support from the Mercyhurst Innovation Entente Lab. (pictured below)

Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center

Bodhi and the Sarah Reed Children's Center have implemented Tower Gardens to create an environment that encourages children to take part in sustainable practices. Not only do the towers provide nutritious food, the calming effects of the flowing water and the proximity to nature provide Horticulture Therapy. Bodhi has been conducting consensual research at Sarah Reed’s to validate the positive effects of Horticulture Therapy.

Allegheny College

Through the collaboration of Allegheny’s students’ and facility’s brilliant minds, they have created and foster a sustainable campus. With their expertise and mission for change. Allegheny will work alongside the Bodhi Garden Initiative to create best practices to achieve Carbon Neutrality and mitigate Bodhi’s environment impact. Allegheny continues to refine their sustainability practices

The Northwest Pennsylvania Innovation Beehive Network

A grant-funded collaborative initiative to enhance business expansion and development in the Erie area. Each branch is responsible for bringing specialized services. Bodhi has been working alongside numerous organizations within the Beehive Network to improve their operational, branding and marketing, and sustainability capabilities.
